In Lauren's Loving Memory

On Tuesday May 14, at the age of 22, Lauren's battle with Leukemia unexpectedly came to an end. She was a daughter, a sister, friend, and inspiration to all who knew her. She leaves behind 3 children she loved with all of her heart; Kayden age 5, Landon age 2, and Malikai 3 months; and also leaves behind Joseph, the love of her life. 

Lauren's first battle with Leukemia began in November 2017 but she overcame that fight in the summer of 2018. Shortly after her victory, she and Joe announced they were expanding their family, already weeks pregnant with their youngest son. It was during this exciting and happy time that she found out her cancer had returned.

Lauren faced each day with courage and strength, never losing faith in spite of her life threatening diagnosis. More importantly, through her selfless love, she ensured her son's safe delivery into this world and began treatment that seemed so promising. Her determination to live and her positive outlook on love and faith never waivered.  All who knew Lauren were captivated by her light. 

Lauren did not lose in her fight with cancer. She fought with every ounce of strength she had. She fought for every day, for every minute. She never stopped fighting. She has left a legacy of love in her wake. Love for every single moment of this life we are blessed with. Love for every moment of this life we were blessed with her. 

We, her family, find ourselves unprepared for life without her. We believed, just as strongly as she did, that this battle would be conquered; just as her first battle was. So many have reached out hoping to help in this devastating time. As we move forward and plan for her funeral we find ourselves grateful and appreciative for any assistance in this tragedy.
