In loving memory - Dr Anthony Whyte

This is for you Dad. x

I can't believe your gone. I wake up every day thinking this is all a bad dream, I call your name expecting to hear your Irish accent, go into your study expecting to see you on your computer. I have never felt pain so unbearable, but this pain does give me strength.  Strength to make you proud. Strength to do everything for you. It is very difficult now, but I promise you -  myself, Mum and Jonny will pull through for you.

Dr Anthony Whyte; my Dad, died unexpectedly  on Saturday the 27th October 2018. It has come as a complete shock to the family, and we appreciate our friends and family's support as this extremely difficult time.

My dad is the most intelligent person I ever had the pleasure of knowing, he had achieved a doctorate of Science (the highest qualification you can achieve). I will forever be in awe of your knowledge, intelligence and your loving, humorous nature. He studied medicine at the Queen's University Belfast, he then attended the University of Cambridge (Senior member at St John's College and Robinson College), where his field of study was Pathology and Immunology. Most recently he was teaching and demonstrating at the department of Pathology for the University of Cambridge. He loved helping and inspiring his students and continuing his research in his fields of study. He has written many academic journals which have been cited over 1500 times, and will continue to be cited for years to come.

Dad I promise I will keep sharing your work, I promise I will keep your work and your name alive. Please take a minute to look at his research and published work -

This charity is close to my Dad and us as a family. My Dad's mother passed away from Alzheimer's and he was always passionate about helping this cause. Thank you for taking your time reading this, and thank you in advance for any donations - it would make our Dad so happy and proud. Please keep our Dad in your thoughts and prayers.

Dad you are always a part of us, thank you for making us into the people we are today. I will always feel you, hear you and you will never leave my side.

Forever in our hearts.

We love you Dad, sleep tight x
