Immigration Process Expenses

My father was detained by ICE a little over a month ago and has a chance of becoming deported now with the new administration. My father has always been a family man, always provided for us even after my parents divorced. Now that he is detained it is very hard for us to come up with so much money to pay for lawyers, and services to help get my father out and eventually becoming a resident and even a US Citizen one day.

My father came to this country at a young age, alone. The USA is his home and he should not be deported back to Colombia. He has his family HERE. I am his only child, and I can't imagine not having my father by my side every step of the way. My father is just as American as the next guy. After the terrible tragedy of 9/11, my father volunteered and help clean up Ground Zero and tried to find missing loved ones of those terrified, trying hoping and praying that their loved ones would be safe. Now because of his service to the public, my father now has a sickness from breathing in all the fumes, dust and soot. Although he is now sick, he never regrets helping because not only did US citizens feel the pain of 9/11 but the rest of the world did, including him.

Every dollar helps, and if you can't afford to cooperate financially, prayer and faith also plays a huge part in this.
