My name is Erick, i came into this country with my daughter when she was just 8 years old. I wanted her tog et a good education. Our experience in this country so far hasnt been too good for us. We lived with relatives that took advantage of us and abused us in many ways. After a time, i had to sepearate with my daughter for 4 years so i can get a job to provide for her. i even spent some time being completlyhomeless so I sent her to live with her mother's sister which i left back in our country because unfortunately she wasn't able to make it. Anyway, my daughter was physically, verbally and sexually abused and i could not do a thing about it. when i finally was able to take care of her, i took her back broken and hurt. We lived in basement to basements and to other people's bedrooms and homes. She is much older now and about to go to college, she hasnt had a homecooked meal in 6 years and has never had her own room since we shared the bedroom that i rented from people's homes. Most of our relatives are exremely poor like ourselves and cannot help in any way. i can't pay for her college but she wants to be in-state, the least i could do is provide her a proper home to have, im getting older and it's getting harder to use 23 grand that i make a year to provide food and other needs for the both of us. We are being kicked out of our room that i rented and a social worker is coming to take my only daughter away at the end of this month because of our living situation. she is very afraid and can barely eat or sleep and i want her to continue to do good with her school so she can graduate. My daughter is still a minor and i cannot do anything if they take her away from me. Its the only thing i live for, she is the reason why i work so hard and do everything. We found a little apartment that cost 70,000 dollars and we are trying to buy it but i dont have the downpayment and i am running out of options. i really need this money because i don't know what i'll do without my daughter. i need this money by the end of october, it would mean everything to me if get to keep my daughter. she means everything to me, i hate to see her scared and sad and not know how to comfort her. please, please consider my daughter. i would be very thankful the state didn't take her from me. Thank you in advance and thank you for reading. i apologize for grammatical and spelling errors, i'm still learning the language. Have a great day.
