IBWPPI is a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization led by a collective of inter-generational women leaders representing the interests of women in countries throughout the African Diaspora. Currently, there are 18 women who make up the collective representing, North America, Bahamas, Belize, Bermuda, Cuba, Haiti and Ghana Africa. Each year we seek to expand the representation, by convening a gathering of women in a different country during the month of March.

The work of IBWPPI is founded on what we call The Four Pillars:

1)  The elimination of Human Trafficking, particularly of women and girls of African descent;
2)  Support of health and wellness programs and projects, including clean water projectes in Haiti, that speak to the health and well-being of women and girls of African decesent;
3)  Ecomonic safety policies and practices that empower women and girls of African descent;
4)  The educational empowerment of our women and girls of African descent.

The women of IBWPPI believe that gender and cultural diplomacy are pathways to building bridges to greater understanding, fairness and world peace. Through the use of cultural engagement, women are leading the movement towards better environments for education, health and wellness, economic security and safety for women at home in the US and abroad.

We ask that you make a donation to the work, programs and projects of IBWPPI.  The young girls you see in the photo above were benefitted by a Reading Room established by IBWPPI in Belize in 2015. It is through your generosity that we can continue to carry this work forward, domestically and internationally.
Together we can and will make a difference!
