Support student entrepreneurs in pitching their ideas at the Rainforest Student Pitch Competition!
STC.UNM and the UNM Innovation Academy are hosting a start-up business Pitch Competition on Monday, November 7, 2016, 5:30pm at Bow and Arrow Brewing Co.
This competition is open to students from any university in the state of New Mexico.
We invite you to join us to make this a community initiative and to help recognize our student entrepreneurs in the state. Pitch competitions are opportunities for aspiring student entrepreneurs to present their innovative ideas for products, services or technologies in 60-90 second presentations before entrepreneurs, investors, and business professionals in the community.
We are seeking donations for prize money for the students.
Students will submit a 60-90 second elevator pitch video outlining an idea for a new product, service, project or solution; social (not for profit) and for profit. The videos will be uploaded and a panel of successful entrepreneurs and business leaders from the community will judge all candidates. Finalists will be invited to the live Pitch Competition on the evening of November 7th where the audience will vote for the top winners. Top winners will receive prize money. Prizes will depend on the amount of donations and sponsorships received. If you are student interested in participating, please submit your application and video at: https://stc.unm.edu/epc/ .
