Raising Money for a Dream

Hey Everyone! My name is Wilma Brown and I was born with a rare bone disorder called Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI). OI is caused by genetic defects that affect the body’s ability to make strong bones. Due to my condition, I have been confined to a wheelchair and unable to walk since birth. It has been extremely difficult living with OI, but God has been my shield every step of the way. In 2015, with lots of prayer, I decided to work towards independence and correct my deformed bones due to my condition. I had surgery to straighten my left arm and this past January, I had a big surgery to straighten my legs. This has been a very long process with numerous doctor appointments. Due to loosing my parents and my sisters busy schedule, it is difficult to attend my doctor appointments and simply live life. My biggest goal is to be able to drive and gain independence of my own. For the majority of my life Ive felt like a burden and prayed that God would provide a way for me to get around on my own. I know that having a handicap vehicle will allow me the opportunity to go to my doctor appointments and gain just a little bit more independence. Unfortunately, a handicap accessible vehicle is out of my price range and due to my low income, its hard to save up for it. The cost of a handicap vehicle is 60,000. I made this page to fundraise in hopes for a more successful future. Please give whatever you feel led to. Thank you so much in advance for your consideration. God Bless! Jeremiah 29:11
