Chemotherapy is used to kill all cancer cells in the body. The goal of chemotherapy for stage IV NSCLC is to control the disease so that it will stop growing and spreading. At this time the total amount to begin this treatment is $100,000.00

This amount has hurt the entire family and we are all working diligently to fund Uncle Mauro to begin his treatment but we need everyones help before he gets started.

Uncle Mauro is not him-self. His priority is his family. He is the soul provider for his wife and four daughters at this time he has been forced to stop working for the passed three weeks at the job he has worked for over 15 years.

Because symptoms of fatigue and coughing, Uncle Mauro was able to make a Doctors visit to be examined and to his surprise, the first biopsy came back abnormal and cancerous. Stage IV: 
This is the most advanced stage of lung cancer, and is also described as advanced disease. 
(This is when the cancer has spread to both lungs).
The cancer has become aggressive and has sadly spread to his spinal cord and now bones.
