On September 4th, 2021, the love of my life, John, lost his battle to Covid which he ferociously battled for 19 days.

John and I were together over 19 years. During those years we enjoyed scuba diving, horseback riding, Civil War shooting competitions and just loved being together. In the early days of our life together, we embarked on John's passion of creating the BEST wing sauce, Defcon Sauces. His creations won countless awards and recognition world-wide. What he learned from those before him in the hot sauce community, he paid back twice as much to the newcomers in the industry.

While successful in so many ways, this past year has been a struggle. Like many other food industry businesses, ours too took a hit. Things were just starting to come back when John became ill. Being in the hospital, fighting for his life, for so long-the medical bills and daily life expenses keep piling up.
