Sandra's  Story;  New Year's Day Tragedy

This is the story of a beautiful, precious young woman named Sandra Patino- Patroni Almeida. Sandra was born on October 17th, 1977 in San Isidro, Peru. Sandra was a beautiful baby, and a very happy child. She was curious about everything. She was very funny too, and made everyone laugh. Her twin sisters Solangue and Nicole, 18 months younger, always looked up to Sandra to lead them and have fun.

They all loved to play roles acing out famous artists, Sandra especially taking on the role of playing Annie. Sandra was smart, brilliant and she could walk into a room and light up the whole room. Her happiness was very contagious and she had the most beautiful wide smile with lovely white as can be teeth. Not to mention again her beautiful dimples. Sandra was very honest and outspoken, and would say things to people that were frank and to the point, but never offensive because of her humorous way.

Gloria raised her girls in Peru with so much love as a single mother and eventually they came to the United States when Sandra was 15 years old. Even though Sandra missed her family in Peru, she was very excited about a new beginning in the United States and adapted well to her new school; making many friends. She graduated at Silver Creel high school in San Jose with honors. Her memory was amazing; she could read and memorize a whole page in a book in a few minutes.

Sandra studied two years at De Anza college in Communications. She also loved signing in the Professional Adult Choir (Tony Eiras); which by the way Sandra, and her twin sisters Solangue and Nicole were also singing with and were the youngest members of this choir of 50 people. This choir also went to Italy to sing before the Pope John Paul II.

Sandra had the most beautiful smile with dimples, and big beautiful brown eyes that could melt your heart. You could see in her eyes her purity of her soul and the generosity of her heart. Whatever Sandra had she wanted to share with others. She was deeply involved in her church, cooking and serving the disadvantaged meals three times a week. She cleaned the church, was helping with accounting of the church, and again was singing in the choir. She also did Bible reading 2 times a week.

Sandra loved the life God gave her and was looking forward to raising a family after she was married last year April 11th, 2015. She even took classes at the Community College in San Francisco to study about caring for babies and children. Even after separating from her husband, Sandra still had the hope and dream of someday having a child.

On New Year's Day, January 1st, 2016, after Sandra came out of the midnight mass in St. Peter's Church in San Francisco, she passed away and was found a few blocks away from the church.
Hours later her mother, Gloria Almeda received a phone call from a detective who was at the morgue in San Francisco and told Gloria the tragic news about Sandra.

Gloria and her daughters are completely devastated. Gloria is so distraught that she is barley able to function, let alone think about preparing to bury her daughter. Also Sandra's sisters, the twins have special needs.

We as Gloria's close friends are asking is that you would please help as much as you can, to give a donation for the funeral service and burial of her precious daughter Sandra. Also as the cause of death is unknown, and an investigation is in process, we ask for donations for the lawyer fees.

Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for helping Gloria and her family and may God bless you in a special way.
