Circle the Wagons for Darryl Talley
$153,479 of $100,000 goal
Darryl Talley was the quintessential Buffalo Bill. He was the on-field General for the teams that went to four straight Super Bowls. He gave everything he had on every play and left it all on the field.
The years of abuse on the field took their toll and today Darryl is in a bad place. His body has broken down, his money is all but gone and depression has taken hold of the man Bills' fans affectionately call, "Spider-Man."
You can read more about it here:
Darryl is the proudest of men and it took a lot for him to even admit publicly that he needed help. For 12 years he circled the wagons for us, now it's time for Bills' fans to return the favor for our favorite son.
Please consider giving any amount you can so we can show Darryl Talley that he is and always will be #1 in the hearts of Bills' fans.
(My name is Frank Thomas Croisdale and I am a lifelong fan of the Buffalo Bills. I started this fund to help Darryl and his family.
Every dollar raised will go to the Talleys to help with their expenses and to aid in Darryl's well-being.
I am working with Darryl's wife, Janine, to figure out the best way to use this money for maximum benefit.
She wants everyone to know that she and Darryl are overwhelmed by your generosity and outpouring of love. They are having a hard time coming to grips with accepting such an amazing amount of donations)
My column detailing the behind the scenes moments that led to a holiday miracle.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone.
Thank you all for being angels here on Earth.
“This is heavy duty, man,” Talley said. “It could very well save my life.
Again, thank you to all who donated.
“I’m agonizing over a way to say thank you.” The best thank you would be for you to work on getting better for yourself. For all you gave to us - we'd love for you to give back to yourself and your family.
Glad to hear the Talley's have received the money and will be using it in whatever fashion will help them.
More valuable then the dollars we raised (and make no mistake, that is important too), I hope you now know that with the FANS in Bills' Nation, you will NEVER be alone, you will never be rejected, you will never be forgotten. You are one of us! We take care of ours. BE WELL, Talley's!! We all love you!
Dear Darryl: I was deeply saddened to learn of all that you have been going through and what you are battling now. We love you and thank you for all that you have brought to our city, what you have done for the team and all that you have given us, the amazing memories. What makes Buffalo so special is that you are family. And family loves, supports and helps family and from deep down inside, all of those who have donated did so because we truly want to help in whatever way we can and do so with love and the hopes that you will know how much we love you and your family and hope and pray that this will help you a little in some way. My prayer is for your ultimate healing.
Darryl, I read the article and thought about what it took for you to come forward and let your struggles out in front of the world. I am sure it was hard. In a world where you are expected to be steadfast and strong you had to be humble and show a very hard part of your life to the world. You did this for others. You did this so the world would know what was going on to not only you but others. Here you in your darkest hour you thought of others. That is respectable and honest. This money was raised because you made our lives amazing during a time when it was never easy in our lives. You stood strong and took humongous blows to be a winner. It is that same spirit that was humble for others that I ask you to mend your family with these funds. It is hard to say that its not working out the way that you need. But this money.. is for you and your wife and to bring whatever normalcy it can to your life while you try and find a cure towards yi it ailment. It is my hope that you use it. And that you survive and enjoy many more years with your family. #ThankFul #StrengthInNumbers
Darryl and family....please...accept the help of all your friends in buffalo. You gave us some of the best years in bills history. Let your friends here help you. Don't think of it as charity. When you are back on your feet you can always give back to a special charity in need....like hunters hope

Darryl, you gave my father much joy. He loved working with you and your wife in Orchard Park. I loved to hear the Darryl Talley stories he'd bring home. I saw you shortly after his death at the BTI and you treated me and my little brother like family. Get well, sir. I will always be a fan of you the person as well as the great football player! Love from the VanDECarr's.
Darryl I understand your reluctance to accept this money. I am a retired Marine and at times our pride is all we feel we have. But as a lifelong Bills fan and huge fan of you, please set your pride aside and accept this gift, we the fans, have given to you. It's not about us but about you and helping you. When you gave so much to us during your playing days you had an impact on so many people with your grit and determination and you forever became a part of our family. Nobody is putting themselves into a hardship with their donations and we look at this as an opportunity to give to someone who gave us so much joy and so may wonderful memories. Stay strong, accept this small offering and continue to speak out and raise awareness to what you and so many others are going through. God Bless you and your family.
