2014 HILLSIDE HURRICANES YOUTH FOOTBALL TRAVEL FUND
Dear Prospective Sponsor,
I know that you are pressed for time. But please, could you give me your attention for the next 30 seconds as you read this letter?
I am writing on behalf of the Hillside Hurricanes youth association. Our organization is a 501c3 non-profit organization that introduces youth to a positive program while enriching family and community bonds. Our football program promotes, provides and encourages children and their families by creating a positive atmosphere that fosters athletic, academic and social growth. Our Football program has the rare opportunity to travel to the POP Warner National Championship this year. This is the Superbowl of youth athletics. Much to our surprise we ended our season undefeated and on November 1st we won the Chicagoland Pop Warner Division II Junior Midget (12-13y/o) state championship. We are now competing in the regional qualifying rounds putting us in a position to make it to the championship game in Florida. However because we are first year program and this feat was so unexpected we have limited resources and it makes it impossible for us to be able to make it to the big game, that would cause our team to forfeit our spot and bringing all their hard work and dedication this season to an end. Unless, someone step’s in to help them. And that’s where you come in.
By helping the children at our program to have the opportunity to play in this once in a lifetime event, you are not just helping them, but you’re also investing in the long-term future health of our community and even your company. By helping our children to have this experience they so desperately desire and have worked so hard for, you will be planting seeds for future consumers loyal to your company.
Not only that, but by contributing you will also be receiving freed advertising and positive public relations in the community. That’s because we will post your name on our website, as well as on any materials produced promoting the trip. In addition we will print your companies name on our teams t-shirts. To top it all off, we will have a “Partner Banner,” bearing the names of all the contributors, which will be prominently displayed at the all our games.
By contributing towards this once in a lifetime trip you can help our children immeasurably, receive free advertising and promotion for your company and feel good about it all!
Would you please help? We will need to depart to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Buena Vista, Florida on Friday December 05th 2014 and would be returning Saturday December 13th 2014. We only have about two weeks to try and raise as much money as we can to send 24 boys and their parents to compete for the National Title. All of your donation will go towards travel and accommodations. Any amount you’re willing to donate will be greatly appreciated!
