Hurricane Michael FSU SRNA

Donation protected
My name is Jamie and I am a student nurse anesthetist (SRNA) raising money on behalf of my classmates.  The Nurse Anesthesia program at Florida State University is located in Panama City, an area devastated by Hurricane Michael.  Our school and local clinical sites have suffered a great deal of damage. Classes and clinical are on hold until further notice.

Many of our students move from various places around the country to attend this program.  Unfortunately, a number of our students have either lost their homes or are experiencing financial hardship brought on by the hurricane.  We are seeking donations to help offset the costs of travel to escape the hurricane, ruined homes, damaged vehicles, and the basics, such as food and water.

We are grateful that all of our students are safe. We are now raising money to help those students have suffered loss and the financial hardship that comes with it.  Our campaign funds with be withdrawn by Dr. Stacey VanDyke (our director) and administration will distribute the money raised to those students who apply for the money, based on need.  The students who receive your donations will use them on expenses related to the hurricane, such as lodging, gas, food, and clean up.  Some of our students have had to leave their homes due to damage and these funds will help offset the costs of moving.

We are grateful for all donations.
