Hurricane Irma St. John relief fund

Hurricane Irma, one of the strongest ever recorded hurricanes on earth directly hit the U.S. Virgin Islands , specifically my home island of Saint John a community of peaceful, loving people, who have lost everything. Their beautiful home is demolished , and many have no where to go. There is no power, no running water, limited road access, limited food & water, families cannot contact loved ones, & most do not even have a roof over their head... everything is gone.. these people are some of the most vulnerable affected by the storm & unfortunately the media coverage and federal aide are not nearly enough. The bulk of the disaster relief will be achieved through grass roots movements from communities in the continental United States. It can be easy to forget that these victims are U.S. Citizens, & as fellow Americans we have an opportunity & a responsibility to show that we are compassionate & generous in times of hardship & disaster. So please find it in your heart to donate something big or small to help these families in need.

The people affected include my family, friends, neighbors, & community.

I will collect the proceeds into my personal bank account, and use the money to personally purchase , generators, basic living supplies, medical supplies, then fly to the Virgin Islands to deliver the resources and contribute to rebuilding efforts. Thank you.
