Hurricane Harvey Rockport TX Relief

Many of the residents of Rockport, Texas will need assistance after the devastating Hurricane Harvey practically demolished their town. The purpose of this is to help those residents with whatever they need from supplies to clean up, diapers for their children, clothes, groceries, and the list goes on.

I grew up there and now live in Houston (also devasted by the storm).  I have tons of friends without homes to go home to, basic necessities or belongings for their families in both cities. Unfortunately for a lot of my friends from Rockport they also do not have jobs to go back to work at because of the mass destruction of the city. As well as my father, Dan Wright. I have had friends from Houston in the midst of doing what they can to help others within their own city reach out to me and ask how they can help Rockport. That is the purpose here. I will use the money donated to purchase supplies, necessities and gift cards to give directly to residents of Rockport. I will be driving down there frequently due to my father still living there and can ship things to the many that will be displaced for quite some time (they don't even have schools to go back to). I will be completely transparent with the purchases of these gift cards and who they are given to. I have started a Facebook page, Hurricane Harvey Rockport Residents Relief. If you know anyone from there that needs help please direct them to that page to request what they need.

The Rockport Fulton Chamber of Commerce has their own GoFundMe page to help with the re-building of the city, but the residents really need help re-building to. So many have lost so much.
