2 year old, Caleb, has large cell anaplastic medulloblastoma with the MYC translocation with metastasis to the spine.

A plum-sized mass was discovered on his cerebellum December 29, 2015. The mass was rapidly growing, and in less than 24 hours, his family had noticed a severe decrease in mobility. On new year's eve, he underwent brain surgery to remove the tumor.

With Caleb being so young, he has very limited treatment options available. After several weeks in ICU, final pathology results became available, and his hope for medical options dwindled. On January 15th, Caleb's family was told that the ONLY option was to report to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. A clinical trial, including radiation AND chemotherapy, is available. Within a week, Caleb and his parents were on a flight to St. Jude's. Caleb's 4-year old and 15-week old sisters, remained at home, a thousand miles away.

On January 25th, Caleb will be admitted for in-patient treatment and will officially begin the fight for his life. His medical team is anticipating at least a year of intense treatment. With the help of donations, family, and friends, Caleb's sisters will be able to reunite with their brother and parents during his treatment.

Since Caleb's surgery, he has suffered from weakness on his right side and speech regression. In an effort to restore Caleb's quality of life, his treatment at St. Jude's will include occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy.

December 28th, Caleb was a rambunctious toddler. He surpassed motor skills milestones like rolling over (less than 10 weeks!!), eating with a spoon, and walking. Now, Caleb is having to re-learn some of his basics (like, walking and standing unassisted) causing him frustration and stress.

The family is asking for your monetary support. Medical bills are undetermined and insignificant at this time. At the moment, Caleb is in need of button-up pajamas and button-up shirts. The family is in need of re-uniting with their young girls. With your help, that is possible. And ultimately, Caleb is is need of prayers. The family appreciates all prayers, from all walks of life. It takes a village to raise a child, but this fight is more than a single child. This fight is about cancer. The treatment he will receive could be a cure for many children. This fight is about family. The treatment he will receive could keep many families together, instead of being ripped apart by cancer. This fight is about faith. Caleb and his family have faith that he will overcome all odds.
