Help Send Katie to WBFF Worlds

Katie is an internationally published blogger, athlete, and fitness enthusiast that has lost 150 lbs naturally in 4 years time and is motivating and inspiring thousands around the world with her honesty, openness, and willingness to share her journey through Huff 'n Puff to Buff 'n Tough. She discovered her passion for fitness through her weight loss and fitness journey that began in 2013.

It was February of 2013 at 280 lbs after experiencing some life altering and major neurological and reproductive health issues that she finally became serious in learning the right tools and applying them to transform her mind, body, and life after realizing that her life and/or her abilities could be cut short. In 2012 she started to see her quality of life plummeting even more than past years. She suffered from an episode of Optic Neuritis that left her temporarily blind in one eye for about a month and her vision never fully recovered. The Optic Nueritis and dealing with temporary paralysis amongst other issues led doctors to giving her a 95% chance of having or developing Multiple Sclerosis in the future. She also has battles with glaucoma, PCOS, infertility, anxiety disorders, and depression.

Many of you have been a witness to her weight loss and fitness journey and know that just recently she has pushed her anxiety disorders and fears aside to compete and graced the stage in the transformation division showing off her 150 lb weight loss transformation in her first fitness competition at the Fitness Atlantic USA Championships. She won and placed in the top 5 and earned an invite to compete with the WBFF on the Worlds stage in the transformation division for the world title. WBFF Worlds is being held in London, England this year on August 26 & 27th. She will be competing in the transformation division against champion  competitiors from all over the world.

This has been a dream of hers for years. A dream that she didn't think she could ever have or achieve with her previous physique or mental state. Over the past four years she has put in a tremenous effort to enhance her quality of life by ridding herself of obesity. Her aim was to set goals and go full force to achieve them. From walking and running in 5k races to running 2 half marathons she has become healthier, more fit, and gained an incredible amount of confidence. She broke down walls and barriers and emerged from her cocoon as a beautiful butterfly and is flying high to reach for the stars. 

Katie needs your help to get her to the world stage as competing in these competitions are insanely expensive and she is looking to alleviate some of the costs, so that not only can she make it to London and is able to cover all expenses (passports, airfare, hotel, gown, suit, etc.), but that her daughter can be there to cheer her mommy on as well. She can't get there without the help of her friends, family, supporters and fit family! You guys helped her get this far with your amazing words of encouragement and support, so let's push her even further to help her realize that she can do and achieve anything she puts her mind, heart, and soul into. Let's make sure she finishes what she started!
