My name is Nikki; I am Mathias' cousin.  I live in Michigan, so unfortunately I am not able to be with the family like I want to be during this tragic and unexpected time.  However, with Dawn's permission, I set up this GoFundMe page to donate and raise money to help pay for the funeral expenses. 

Mathias was a great kid.  He was always so kind and thoughtful.  He was the kid who became the man of the house when his dad passed away.  He was very protective of every single one of his family members and friends.  This was especially true for his mom and two sisters.  He had a lot of love for everyone. 

Unfortunately, on April 4, 2016, this young life was lost.  As most of you know, the funeral is a great expense and when you lose a young life there are generally no plans or savings for this.  I know that losing a loved one is hard enough and after losing a child, no one should have to worry about how they will pay for a funeral.  I have been reading through a lot of the amazing words from Mathias’ friends and family.  There has been an amazing amount of support and kind words for his family during this time and I know they appreciate every word.

So for those of you who would like to donate to help Mathias’ family pay for the unexpected expenses they face, I invite you to donate.  Anything and everything will be helpful and greatly appreciated.  The money raised will go straight to Mathias’ mother, Dawn so that she may lay her baby to rest.  If you are not able to donate, we understand.  Please keep the Bennett’s in your thoughts and prayers during this unexpected time.
