The Widow Project

Hello, my name is Gert Thompson, Resurrection Run 5k and Power Walk, Race Director. We are raising money for Phase One of The Widow Project. We support less fortunate widows with the proceeds from our annual event. It gives us great joy to meet the need and bring a smile to the face of a widow with insufficient resources . The loss of a husband leaves a void and emptiness we make strides to fill to some degree, James 1:27 exhorts us to visit the widows in their affliction... Our goal for 2016 is $50,000.00.
