Hi my name is Zulaika, one of Michelle's best friend. I have had the honor of being part of Michelle's life for 31 years. All the years that I have known Michelle, she has been a go getter, happy, vibrant, loving, giving , funny person. Michelle grew up in San Diego for the majority of her life, but in 2009 , Michelle decided to move to Arkansas, where she fell in love and married shortly after. Few months later, Michelle found out she was pregnant. Michelle was so happy and excited to be having her first child. A t 29 weeks her water broke which landed her in the hospital , giving birth to little Benjamin. Benjamin was premature and was fighting for his little life. By the grace of God, Michelle was able to take him home, 3 months later. Michelle became a mommy two more times.

In 2014, Michelle went to the chiropractor to get an adjustment on her leg and got a broken leg instead, due to bone cancer, that she did not know she had. Which in a way was a blessing in disguise. after the ER visit, for the broken leg she also found out she had stage 4 breast and bone cancer that had metatastasized in the bone.
She was given 8 months to live with a few extra months if she decided to go with chemo and radtation and certainly never walk again. Michelle and her husband prayed about the situation and decided to take a natural route By April 13th , 2015 Michelle was out of the wheelchair, leg completely healed and cancer markers were down from 289 to 44 and thought she was out of the woods,. Unfortunately, they did not have enough knowledge about cancer and it came back with a vengance,. At the beginning of December , Michelle started having trouble walking again. Michelle did not know the cancer was back. In mid March, of this year Michelle caught a cold. After the cold was gone she continued to have difficulty breathing and was struggling to catch her breath, so after a week she decided to go to the doctor. The Doctor said her lungs was full of fluid amd was admitted to the hospital for drainage. In the hospital she found out the cancer was attacking her lungs and bones again, she had one broken hip, one fractured leg, one fractured arm and a fractured hip, .Michelle, is strong willed women, who refuses to give up and continues to fight. Michelle has been such a testimony to so many people. Regardless of the storm she is going through, she continues to have a positive attitude, which comes from her strong faith in Christ Jesus. Michelle is back home and continues to take a natural route for the camcer

I have set up this GoFundMe account to help offset the extensive medical costs associated and recovery from this type of diagnosis. So many people have called, or written, and asked what they can do to help. We are asking family and friends, who wish, to donate to this account to help Michelle and her family get back on their feet, financially.
