The Texas Bloodhound Trailing Dogs is a nonprofit group that uses Bloodhounds to assist Local and Federal Police Agencies in the location of missing persons.
All expenses are absorbed by the handlers. Training occurs on a daily bases. Being set up with court systems we utilize kids in need of community service to help train the dogs.
Often we attend schools and safety fairs to talk with children about what to do should they get lost. Not to mention that for 2016 call-outs to police agencies have increased by almost 60%
Recently we had suffered the loss of two of our working dogs. Both K9 Hogan and K9 Storm passed away. We are quickly trying to get a new pup, K9 Reign, trained and of course, there is an expense to this.
