Von Der King Kennels and Training, along with Highland Park Police Department need your help! In December 2013 HIghland Park recieved a Police K9 named Kilo; donated by Von Der King Kennels and Training. Kilo was trained in Narcotics D
etection and Suspect/Missing persons tracking. 

In early August 2015 Kilo escaped from his outdoor enclosure. While out, Kilo was shot and killed by an unknown suspect. More details and the original news story can be found here. http://www.fox2detroit.com/news/local-news/5642646-story

Kilo was was a top notch drug dog supporting the community he worked in with great pride. Von Der King Kennels and Training is once again looking to raise funds and donate a dog to HPD. 

Trexx, a Dutch Shepherd, will be trained in all aspects of Patrol and Detection. Trexx will aid the community in Narcotics Detection, Tracking, Suspect Locating, Handler Protection and more! Trexx is also related to Kilo through some common ancestory, a must for the Zuellig family. 

Our goal is to raise enough to cover all expenses of the dog and the training Trexx will receive. More so, we are looking to donated some essential gear to HPD. Including leashes, collars, patrol harness, odor detection training equipment and more.  Please help us support this department and community in need. Von Der King Kennels and Training is committed to HPD and will cover all expenses that remain at the end of fund raising / before delivery.
