 HAZELWOOD, MO
Hazelwood, MO, August 25, 2016. – At about 4:54 P.M. an officer with the Hazelwood Police Department was responding to an emergency call when he was involved in a traffic crash with another vehicle.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Dunn Rd. and Village Square Dr., in Hazelwood, Mo. The crash resulted in the police vehicle being involved in a roll-over incident. The officer sustained serious injuries and after he was cut out of the vehicle was air lifted to a local hospital.  The officer is in critical condition.  All funds raised will go to the officers recovery needs and financial assistance.

The funds are being directly given to Craig and Christine Tudor.  There is no need for the Hazelwood Police Department Benevolent Association to be an intermediary.   This is a start and we will keep everyone informed as details are released.

Here is a more detailed explanation of the procedure Craig underwent today. This groundbreaking surgery has the potential to change the lives of many people who’ve been forever affected by spinal cord injury. We are so thankful that Craig’s care is being overseen by Dr. Dorward and Dr. Ray, and we are so excited to see what lies ahead for Craig, as well as others in similar situations.

Thank you, Christine Byers, for sharing this experience with us, both as a reporter and a friend. I especially appreciated having you with me this morning. And wow, you are fast!

Continued prayers for Officer Tudor's full recovery. I Have looked everywhere and have come up empty handed, what happened with the other driver? Were charges filed? Did they decide it was an innocent mistake, accident? Again, I pray that Officer Tudor has a full recovery. I also pray for his family, friends, and colleagues. Godspeed.

I just wanted to wish you the best and also to tell you how sorry I am about the lady who stole those donations. I just read the article on the New York Post. It is a darn shame that she raised all that money and kept it for herself. I am happy to see that you have this page where the money goes directly to you. I am a senior living on SS so have little to donate, but you will be in my prayers always. God Bless you officer.

I just read about the woman who embezzled money from fundraisers. Hope there is a silver lining in that it helps raise awareness for this Go Fund Me page. God bless.
