HOWARD GIVES BACK

Howard is terminally ill with cancer and was found as a stray at IACC.  The Humane Society of Johnson County stepped in and took Howard not knowing anything about him, other than he was a senior.  Humane Society of Johnson County has a soft spot in their hearts for senior animals.  Our amazing office manager Pam took Howard in as a foster, after discovering he had a fast growing cancerous tumor in his abdomen. Howard was given less than 12 months to live.  HSJC decided that Howard needed a bucket list to be completed before he became more ill. So far Howard has completed 4 of his bucket list items.  He went to Mrs. Curls for ice cream, was an honorary firefighter, was sworn in as a K9 officer, and  the Grand Marshall of the Franklin Fall Festival parade in a convertible for HSJC. Howard has 3 more items on his bucket list that need to be completed.  An upscale dinner at the Revery, a canine massage, and the largest of all a campaign for HOWARD GIVES BACK. Howard wants more terminally ill animals to be able to have the end of life he has had the pleasure of having. He also wants more senior animals to be saved and given the chance  of becoming adopted.  It is very costly to help senior animals, especially those with terminal illness.  As Howard's last wish and last item on his bucket list, he would like to raise $5,000.00 for his fellow 4 legged friends to carry out his legacy.
