Houston Nets Basketball Team, is a non-profit youth basketball program that operates February-August annually. Houston Nets was established in 2006 and during this time we have gone from a few kids dribbling at a local church gym to a recognized club that offers guidance and direction on what it takes to compete on the next level. I believe if you surround this generation with positivity it will lead them to greatness. That has been our motto from day one and every year we have been successful at just doing that.
Houston Nets Basketball host 2 basketball teams: Freshman and Varsity Boys basketball. Practices are held twice a week and plays every other weekend. Most tournaments are played locally with some travel tournaments. The tournaments are designed to allow kids to showcase their talent and skills, with the hope and desire to play college basketball someday.
As you can imagine with the cost of practice gyms, exposure tournaments entry fees and travel, we have a high overhead for a non-profit organization. We are looking to travel to some of the nearing cities and boarding states; with the hopes of getting to LAS VEGAS OR ORLANDO!!! We are seeking donations to help offset the cost of each teams expenses. Any funds collected will help all the basic necessities: tournament entry fees, transportation, and lodging. We can only achieve our goals with the assistance of generous donations from you.
