Houston Auer Memoial

Donation protected
As most of our community knows by now, Houston Auer’s life was brutally and tragically ended during the early morning hours of this past Mother’ Day in his own home. Houston’s remains have been found and his grieving family has to enter the second chapter of this horrible living nightmare.
Houston’s killer was not a roommate; he was a friend who needed a place to stay. Houston’s grandmother graciously and very generously allowed this friend to stay in her home. It is inaccurate and disrespectful to continue to refer to him as a roommate. This was simply a police naming error the first day of the crime that has not been corrected by the press.
Houston’s family is broken-hearted, left to clean up a horrible mess, feeling desperately at loss, and entirely baffled as to why this horrible and unimaginable betrayal of friendship took place (as are all of Houston’s friends and loved ones).
There are very pressing, tedious and burdensome financial expenses that they must also bear. We, as friends, and as a small and caring community, can not change the events that happed to cause all this terrible grief but, we can come together to help with the details that have to be addressed (especially now that Houston’s remains have been found). Houston deserves a proper service. Houston’s Family, friends and loved ones deserve to say farewell to him. Please donate what you can to make that happen.
