Hope For Shane After Hit and Run

Our beloved Shane survived a horrific hit and run accident while riding his motorcycle in Boulder, CO. In front of many witnesses, he was struck by a box truck going 50mph, which fled the scene. Praise the Lord, Shane was wearing all his protective gear and is anticipated to make a full recovery in time.
The next year will be full of hurdles for Shane. He has already undergone an extensive surgery/craniotomy to reduce bleeding and pressure on his brain and is anticipated to endure multiple surgeries, as well as, at least one skin graft to cover severe injuries to his leg and ankle. Shane has also undergone comprehensive testing and sustained injuries to his spleen and suffers from multiple broken ribs.
In November 2013 Shane married his best friend Arielle, and they along with their dog Lana, have enjoyed the benefits of living in beautiful Colorado. They are avid hikers, rock climbers, and adventurers. Shane is also passionate about health and fitness, and is on staff as a full-time instructor at Crossfit Roots, while Arielle is pursuing a degree to become an Ocupational Therapy Assistant.
As a community our desire is to pour support over Arielle and Shane. Not only will they incur significant medical expenses, but they will also suffer from the loss of Shane's income. This young couple is beyond generous and always willing to lend a smiling face and helping hand. In this difficult time, we want to return the love they so freely give and provide relief for a portion of the burden they face. Any donation, word of encouragement, share, or prayer is valued greatly; we have already been so humbled and grateful by the outpouring of support on social media.
