Hope 4 Rachel ~ Transition Fund

HELP RACHEL, HELP OTHERS, BECOME A HERO!
Rachel is a registered blind, transgender wonan with very little sight. Her greatest ambition now is to get back to work live a normal life and go on to help, inspire and fundraise for other people with blindness, mental or physical health issues and the LGBT+ community. She needs your help to boost her confidence and help her to make the leap towards achieving her goals. By donating you will be a hero in your own right because whatever Rachel receives she will send forward in other ways and campaign for a better quality of life for others.

RACHEL'S STORY IN HER OWN WORDS.
I'm a a bright, bubbly, kind-hearted transgender girl who when first diagnosed, 10 years ago, had a promising music career ahead of her as a producer. However, my hopes were short-lived when I developed a destructive series of diabetic eye complications. I endured a total of 19 eye surgeries and all whilst battling depression and continuing my gender transition. I was dropped by my record label and registered as blind and although I have some vision, I remain severely visually-impaired which has resulted in a painfully slow transition and difficulty in finding any kind of work!...

BUT despite this, I remain upbeat, positive and strong and to quote The Beatles, "with a little help from my friends", I recorded this song which I wrote in hope that it might move/entertain/amuse/inspire you enough to make a kind donation so I can afford the facial and bodily surgery that I so desperately need to complete my journey. Any help you can offer will be gratefully received. Oh and don't forget to LIKE and SHARE this page!

THANK YOU!

WHY DOES RACHEL NEED SURGERY?
Most people think
that the only surgery that transgender women require is all that "downstairs" stuff! Sadly that's often not the case. Facial-dysphoria and body-dysphoria and body dysphoria are also a major aspect of being transgender and are now recognised by international medical organisations. They are often debilitating conditions which effects general mental well-being and confidence.  In the past, these problems have driven me to very dark times in my life but now I am trying to take positive action to overcome this condition.

WHY I NEED YOUR HELP.
I spent 30 umhappy years as a male. I felt as if I'd been released from shackles when I began transition. I would finally be the REAL ME!... Then my sight began to decline very fast thanks to type-1 diabetes. So I now find myself registered blind with a £25,000 surgery path to fund! I'd love to work but opportumities are few and far between. Until I find work, I cannot fund my operations and psychologically every day is like mental torture!
I desperately want to complete my journey. So PLEASE help if you can. Even a few pounds, dollars or whatever your currency, helps. Don't be put off by the target, every little counts!

MY FINAL WORD.
I have plans for the future and ultimately I'd love to be in a position to forge a career, normal life and also get even more  active in the mental health, blind, cancer and childrens' charities I already support. I am passionate about helping others but I also know that I need to complete and recover from my surgeries first so I have the confidence and strength to do so.
So please  find it in your heart to help, donate and share the link. Your help and donation will give ths opportunity to see not who I've become, but who I was meant to be.

Thank you,

Rachel x
