HONORING RASTA JUAN

Donation protected
It’s with a heavy heart that I ask for your help in honoring Juan Malik Bernal. He was 21 when he was taken from us. If you know Juan you’d know how he’s litterally  light and helps others shine. He’s never been the type to give up on anybody no matter how bad you treat him. He was known as the blunt friend that told you what you needed to hear to motivate yourself to be your best self. He was a role model and mentor to most in so many ways. To his family and friends he was the glue that held us all together and kept us from hurting and fighting with each other. Also the first to see the point of view from both sides.  He was also the first one you called if you were in trouble or needed anything. I’ve seen him give the shirt of his back and money in his pocket to anybody who asked without bringing it up for attention. He loved his god daughter and siblings like they were his own kids. He made sure they always had what they needed and wanted. Juan wanted to make sure no one ever felt alone or stuck because he never wanted to wish that feeling on anybody. He stood up for what he believed in and never backed down when he was outnumbered. Juan had the biggest heart even though he wanted you to think he was your undefeated protector which he was both somehow.  He saved me from my crippling depression and taught me that crying is strength but to never stop pursuing what make you happy. He kept saying he wanted to leave Milwaukee because it wasn’t safe. My baby wasn’t just a headline he was the human version of a blessing.  We’re not rich. My baby deserved the world but his loved ones and I just want to give him a proper funeral he deserves.  Anything you can spare would be appreciated. We’re all just holding onto our memories of how he used to be the funniest, smartest, and silliest person in the room without effort. Baby we miss you so much I just wish you could’ve felt all this love when you were still breathing. I would never wish this pain in anyone. Thank you for taking the time to read about the most selfless and strongest person I know.
