Mark Meza Jr. was tragically killed in the horrific shooting at Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks, California on November 7, 2018. He was working there as a busser and food runner. On November 19, 2018, he would have celebrated his 21st birthday.
This campaign's goal is to help support Marky's family during this difficult time. My name is Jessica Cortez and I grew up in Thousand Oaks. I am a family friend - my mother is a longtime friend of his mother, they became friends when he was just a baby. My family has known him for his whole life and we watched him grow up. This is such a devastating loss for his friends, family and the entire community.
All proceeds will go directly to Marky's mother Theresa (Theri) Rougeau, to benefit his family. She will be the official beneficiary for these funds.
