Kayla & Kayden's Fire Recovery Fund

My name is Jasamine and I'd really appreciate your help. I'm raising money for my cousin, Kayla, who returned home from work to find her apartment on fire. While everyone that was inside escaped safely, everything she and her 4-year old son, Kayden, owned was lost. We all know how devastating a fire can be for a family. For my cousin this means that she and Kayden are without a home, clothing, or basic furniture that she'd worked hard to ensure her family had. Additionally, because Kayla had recently opened her home to both her sister, brother, and their kids, the entire family is scrambling to recover from the loss and could use some assistance.

The funds from this campaign will go towards the deposit for a new home to live, the first month's rent, some items of clothing, furniture to sleep on, and reprinting/reissue of official documents (ID cards, certificates, records). It would really mean a lot to Kayla, Kayden, and our entire family if you could help!

We are hoping to reach this campaign goal by July 7, 2016. Because Kayden has been in and out of the hospital regularly this last year with various issues, it's important to get him back somewhere safe and stable as soon as possible. Kayla is extremely grateful for the outpouring of love on Facebook and from calls and texts.
