Welcome to Bernalhaus, one of the premiere and long-running arts spaces in San Francisco. In the wake of the Ghost Ship tragedy in Oakland we are facing eviction from our beloved creative space. For most of the eight artists who work from here, this will also mean displacement from San Francisco.
On December 21st we will be visited by the Code Enformencemt Task Force of the City Attorney. Representatives from the Fire Department, Police Department, Department of Building Inspection, Planning Department and Public Health Department will all be present. We have already been served an eviction notice by our landlord.
We are hoping to find a path to avoid eviction!
We need your financial help to upgrade our warehouse in the case that this is deemed possible. If not, we need your help all the more to make our unfortunate transition to new work spaces.
