Hit & Run Victim

This gofundme is being set up for my co-worker and friend Jill. 

On May 16th while walking by John Muir Hospital in Concord a car drove up on the sidewalk going *at least* 35-40 mph and hit Jill from behind. According to witnesses, She went flying into a somersault, then landed facedown in some dirt and leaves. A few nurses witnessed it, but the driver drove away and has not been identified yet. Jill is home from the hospital with 3 broken ribs, neck fractured in 2 places, thoracic spine fracture, concussion, foot sprain, broken nose, and some big abrasions including on her head. She four days in the hospital and will be recovering at home, away from work for at least 3 months. Jill remains in constant pain, will be wearing a cervical collar for 8-12 weeks while hobbling around in a cam boot with a walker.  Being in a cervical collar and a boot makes the day to day responsibilities like cooking and cleaning a real challenge.
