The PEACE Fund/Highlander 30 Years

Hey PEACEFunders! As probably all of you know, this year is the 30th anniversary of the Highlander universe. Many of you have been a fan since the very first movie, with Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery. If you’re like me, your obsession began with the TV series starring our favorite actor, Adrian Paul. Highlander was a game-changer for many people. It taught values and discipline, turned fans into friends, and created many babies named “Conor” and “Duncan.”
But Duncan MacLeod proved not to be just another pretty face. Adrian used the values he believed in and projected on TV to start something good – the PEACE Fund (thepeacefund.org ). Protect, Educate, Aid Children Everywhere. Since 1997, Adrian has travelled the globe to find small, underfunded charities that could use just a little “hand up.”
In honor of Adrian and all of what Highlander means to its fans, I’ve started this gofundme campaign to benefit The PEACE Fund. And since it’s a special anniversary, I’m asking for special donations - $30 for the 30 years Highlander has given us. Now it’s OUR turn to give back. Thanks for the memories, Adrian and HIGHLANDER!
