Blessing was selected to participate in The National American Miss Contest Nevada- Utah*, where she advanced to Nevada State Finalist. She will be competing in the Princess Division for girls ages 4-6 which will be July 14-15 2016 for her division at the
J. W. Marriott in Summerlin, Nevada.
This is Blessing very first pageant as she is very excited and is looking forward to competing. Blessing is a fun loving 5 year old that attends preschool at Acelero Learning Center Clark County, she loves playing dress up, singing and dancing at home as well as playing outdoors, riding her bike, putting together puzzles and going to the library and reading books. Her goal is to one day become a doctor at a early age she has learned how to take glucose levels and is currently learning how to read a insulin sliding scale chart for her grandmother that suffers from poor eyesight due to diabetes.
She will be competing in the following basic categories Personal Introduction (30%), Interviews (30%), Formal Wear (30%) and Community Involvement (10%), this is not a glamour or glitzy pageant the girls are not allowed to wear any makeup 100% all natural.
As well as being an opportunity that Blessing will cherish for a lifetime, it will also help her to learn different life skills such as self confidence, interviewing skills, public speaking in front of large groups, communication skills as well as socializing by meeting new friends.
As a participant in the pageant each girl has a minimum entry fee of $480.00 but can range up to $800.00 if she enters other competitions in her division. Blessing does wishes to enter other competitions within her category if she raises enough money to cover the entry fees.
As a contestant's she is encouraged to reach out to family and friends as well as local businesses to sponsor her with her campaign by donating any amount that is comfortable, your donations will be graciously needed and appreciated.
Businesses can show their support by placing advertisements add for $75.00, All donations/business advertisements are 100% tax deductible.
All sponsors and advertisements will be featured in the National American Miss Pageant State Yearbook along with her photo that will be distributed statewide throughout the United States. The Pageant is nationally known and recognized and has participants in every state. She looks forward to going and participating in the National Finals.
