Help for the Herskowitz family

I'm creating this GFM page for my best friend Marni Herskowitz and her family, who I now call family myself.
This past year has been the most trying year for all of them even though the past 6 years have been a struggle for Marni.
Marni has some severe health issues(GI related including paralysis) that have now basically kept her either home or in the hospital with no real resolution in site. For the past few months in particular, she hasn't been able to eat and the feeding tubes that have been placed aren't functioning as they should.
Since Marni's health issues have led to multiple hospitalizations and surgeries, her mom, Robyn, had to take time off work to care for both Marni and Marni's elderly grandmother who has issues of her own. Because of the amount of time Robyn needed to take off work, she ended up losing her job. Of course, as the sole provider for the household, that was devastating.
While Robyn can now be at home to care for Marni and her mother, there is no income to provide for the household or purchase medicines that the insurance Marni now has, can cover.
They have also learned recently that there are back taxes due on the house that they weren't notified about. If these taxes aren't paid by October, they will lose the house.
There lives have been flipped upside down completely. Between Marni's issues, mama's issues, and Robyn losing her job, everything has gone wrong. I'm doing this today because I'm heartbroken sitting by and watching my friend and her family suffer, not just physically but emotionally and financially as well.
All monies collected from this will go straight to bills, medication, and most importantly food for the family.
