The Virginia Industrial Hemp Coalition (VIHC) is showing the "Bringing it Home" documentary at the historic Byrd Theatre in Carytown, Richmond, VA. (2908 W Cary St, 23221) for the National 6th Annual Hemp History Week.

The VIHC promises that Hemp History Week 2015 will be bigger than ever!
Virginians throughout the Commonwealth have extra reason to celebrate this Hemp History Week in 2015 as this year marked the passage of HB 1277, legalizing hemp research, with unanimous support from Virginia's General Assembly . Governor Terry McAuliffe singed the bill into law this spring and right now the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is fine tuning the procedure and regulations for hemp research licenses for Virginia Universities. HERE WE GROW!
The VIHC is teaming up with Hemp Dog Cafe which was founded by Cindy Sheaffer, one of the VIHC's own members. Hemp Dog Cafe launched the first Hemp Dog Cart in RVA at the Richmond Bacon Festival on June 8, 2014!

By attending this film screening you will also be assisting the VIHC in it's efforts to educate others on the benefits of a newly emerging Hemp Industry. This allows you to attend meetings, network with fellow hempsters and farmers, and join the combined effort to get Hemp on fully legal status for everyone in Virginia!
