Help Emily Buswell & Family Recover

Emily "Emmie" Buswell and her husband Joe lived and worked in a home destroyed by Saturday’s ten alarm fire in Cambridge. The house originally belonged to Emmie’s parents. Not only were Emmie and her sister Ann raised in that home, but Emmie and Joe raised their son there.

It was this home, filled with love that was the site of one of the best Daycare Centers in the city of Cambridge.

Thank God, they are safe! However, not only did they lose the roof over their heads and their place of employment, they lost everything they owned…family mementos, photos, clothes, toys, everything is gone.

Two decades ago, Emmie and her family changed my life at her daycare. She is the kindest soul who generously opened her house, her family and her heart to “her” children who attended her daycare. Please, help me give back to a woman and her family who always gives so much to others.

I can't start to imagine the loss they are facing, but I know that we can help financially.
