Help Save Steve Fine

I am hoping for some help to save my good friend Steve Fine from the financial and medical devastation he faces. Steve has several medical problems, each life-threatening by itself: congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias (atrial fibrillation & ventricular tachycardia), hypertension, and chronic anemia that has not responded to treatment. He has had triple bypass surgery, ablation, a stent, and a pacemaker (since replaced by an implanted defibrillator). If his heart continues to decline, he will need a more advanced defibrillator.
Due to his health problems, his job opportunities have been limited for years, but he has survived thanks to his remarkable talent in photography. Now his health has forced him to slow down, temporarily we hope, and his income cannot keep pace with his bills. My first inkling of his financial difficulty occurred last week when I learned he had sold the most crucial tool of his profession, his beloved Nikon DSLR camera. Only then did he open up and reveal that he is behind in his medical bills, rent, and car payments, and can no longer afford his medications. I came here as a last resort because he is about to lose everything – his small apartment, car, and much-needed medical care - by the end of August. Please help if you can.
Steve is a very kind and giving person. A devoted son, he cared for his father as he deteriorated from Parkinson’s disease; also his mother, who suffered from cardiac disease; and his beloved sister from other illnesses. He got in trouble with the hospital because he would visit beyond visiting hours due to his long work days. Steve has volunteered generously of his time and skills to help others. He has repeatedly donated the use of his apartment for community meetings, led civic outreach efforts, and volunteered his photography services. It seems he says yes before you can finish asking the favor. Now he desperately needs help. If you're able, kindly contribute any amount, large or small, and please share this message. You’ll be helping out one of the Good Guys of this world.
