Help get SDRD to the Maritime Mayhem 2014 MRDA Championships in Seattle, Washington USA

Southern Discomfort are the first non-US men’s roller derby team to be invited to the MRDA championships. Currently ranked 7th in world, having made phenomenal progress against US teams at Spring Roll back in May and our recent Men’s European Championship 2014 win, has meant that we have climbed to a position that allows us to take part in the most prestigious men’s event in roller derby.

The ‘Maritime Mayhem’ 2014 MRDA Championships will Be Hosted by the Puget Sound Outcast Derby and takes place in Seattle, Washington on 18-19 October. The amazing news that Southern Discomfort had made it to the championships came at very short notice. So much so that the time-frame for saving the funds to cover travel and accommodation expenses has been cut considerably short.

That’s why we’re reaching out to the derby community, our friends and family to help raise money to go towards some of these costs. We really want to be able to represent Men’s Roller Derby in the UK & Europe at the MRDA championships this year, but in order to make it happen we need your help.

Any amount you can donate to help us, no matter how small, will be so much appreciated. We have some great rewards available including a Special Edition T-shirt, personal video messages and a limited amount of SDRD bootcamp tickets, to be hosted by some of SDRD’s top-level coaches and skaters, you can even Rent-A-Skater to coach your league.

Again, we can’t thank you enough for your generous donations.

SDRD are offering some great Rewards for all our lovely backers.
