 PORTLAND, OR
Ryan Northrop is the love of my daughter Lindsay's life. He is a warm, funny, sarcastic and smart man who's never had a serious health complication in his life. He is a passionate and talented drummer in a Portland band called Sons of Huns that was just about to release a new 7" record.  Ryan has been admitted to the ICU for severe pneumonia on a ventilator and will be staying there for at least two weeks, possibly more. We wanted to set up some assistance to go directly to Ryan and Lindsay to help with the medical bills associated with his stay.

Lindsay and Ryan's family would like to thank you all for the outpouring of love and support you have provided.

As you may already know, Ryan left the ICU on 3/15! He is still recovering in the hospital but improving a little everyday. We are so grateful to all of you for your love, encouragement, and contributions. Thank you!

Ryan is improving but will need to stay in the ICU for at least another week, plus at least 2 weeks of recovery in the hospital followed by recovery at home. Ryan will be on short term disability that will pay 60% of his income, but we now are realizing the hospital costs and cost of him being out of work for several weeks is adding up beyond our anticipations.

On top of all of this, Ryan and Lindsay's landlord was about to sell their duplex on April 1st. Their living situation is now up in the air and they will be faced with a big move once Ryan is discharged from the hospital.

Anything you can do to help them in this stressful situation is profoundly appreciated.
