Help my friend Rahaba get the education she deserves!

I met Rahaba when I was volunteering at an organization in South Africa. She she is such a loving person and has a huge heart. She loves helping others and currently works in a job hunting program to help the unemployed youth in her village find a job.
Her village is really poor and there is lack of jobs. Adding to that women and child abuse is a big topic there as well. The organization she is working for at the moment is located about half an hour away from the village so they can only come in a few times a week.
Rahaba's dream is to found her own organisation located directly in the village to be able to help the people by not only creating jobs (employees, security guards, cleaners, cooks, etc.) but more importantly fighting poverty in her own village by educating the youth with basic computer skills, confidence and finding a job.
To be able to do that Rahaba needs to be able to go to university. By studying social work (a four year Bachelor course) she will learn the skills that will then help her teach others about it.
Sadly Rahaba doesn't have the money to pay for the tuition fees on her own. She told me about this a few days ago and I decided to help her make her dream come true by raising awareness. I believe that education is super important and I love the idea of not only being able to help Rahaba with this but also the youth in her village.
The money she would need to study would be:
- 40.000 Rand tuition (2.400€)
- 6.000 Rand application fee (360€)
- 2.000 Rand a month for living (120€)
For now were just trying to raise the money for the first year, but if any of you are interested in supporting her for the whole four years that would be much appreciated. But its not what were asking for. I believe that when a lot of people just give a little, it will add up to be something great. And I believe that together we will be able to make her dream come true!!

Ich habe Rahaba kennen gelernt als ich bei einer Organisation in Südafrika einen Freiwilligendienst gemacht habe und habe sie sofort ins Herz geschlossen. Sie ist ein total liebevoller Mensch mit einem so großen Herz. Sie liebt es anderen zu helfen und arbeitet derzeit bei einer Organisation in einem Program, was arbeitslosen Jugendlichen bei der Jobsuche hilft.
Das Dorf, aus dem sie kommt, ist sehr arm und es gibt einen Mangel an Arbeitsplätzen und daher eine große Arbeitslosigkeit besonders in der Jugend. Hinzu kommt, dass der Missbrauch von Frauen und Kindern ein großes Thema ist. Die Organisation für die Rahaba momentan arbeitet, ist etwa eine halbe Stunde weit entfernt lokalisiert und kann daher nur ein paar mal in der Woche überhaupt ins Dorf kommen.
Rahaba's Traum ist es es eine eigene Organisation zu gründen, um den Menschen direkt vor Ort helfen zu können. Nicht nur durch das Schaffen von Arbeitsplätzen in der Organisation (Mitarbeiter, Sicherheitspersonal, Reinigung, Köche, etc.), sondern viel mehr durch das Bilden der Jugend mit grundlegenden Computer-Skills, dem Bilden von Selbstbewusstsein und Informationen dazu, was es braucht, einen Job zu finden der Armut entgegen zu wirken.
Um das Erreichen zu können, ist es wichtig, dass Rahaba die Chance bekommt zur Uni gehen zu können. Durch den Bachelorkurs Soziale Arbeit (4 jähriger Kurs) wird sie Fähigkeiten erwerben, die sie später in ihrer Organisation anwenden kann.
Leider hat Rahaba nicht das Geld, die hohen Studiengebühren selber zu bezahlen. Sie hat mir vor ein paar Tagen davon erzählt und da habe ich beschlossen, ihr zu helfen ihren Traum zu verwirklichen. Ich bin der Meinung, dass Bildung eines der wichtigsten Dinge in unserer Gesellschaft ist und liebe die Idee nicht nur Rahaba helfen zu können, sondern auch der Jugend in ihrem Dorf.
Das Geld, das sie zum Studieren bräuchte setzt sich wie folgt zusammen:
- 40.000 Rand jährliche Studiengebühren (2.400€)
- 6.000 Rand Aufnahmegebühren (360€)
- 2.000 Rand monatliche Lebenskosten (120€)
Momentan versuchen wir erstmal ihr das erste Jahr der Studiums zu ermöglichen, aber wenn es jemanden gibt, der sie die nächsten vier Jahre unterstützen würde, würden wir uns natürlich auch unglaublich freuen. Aber das ist gar nicht das, wonach wir fragen. Ich bin der Meinung, dass wenn viele Leute, auch nur ein klein wenig geben, das zu einer großartigem Endergebnis führen wird. Ich glaube daran, dass wir gemeinsam Rahaba diesen Traum erfüllen können!!
