Gorsev's Berklee Education

My name is Gorsev Tepe and I will be graduating from Gould Academy this June.  I began classical piano training at the age of five in my home country of Cyprus. Since then I have attended many international competitions such as the Pera Piano Competition held in Istanbul winning first place, and the Fireworks International competition held in Germany, winning the first prize as well. I gave my first solo piano recital at the age of 9 and donated all proceeds to the Cancer Association in Cyprus. I have given 4 solo recitals until the age of 12, supporting people in need. At the age of 12, I moved to the U.S. to continue my piano education as it was my biggest dream since I was a little girl. Since then, I have worked hard to be able to get into one of my dream colleges to continue my performance education. I have attended Long Island Conservatory International Piano Competition held in New York and won the second place. I am playing with the chamber ensemble at Gould Academy and performing around the state. This year, after a busy audition season, I have decided to attend Berklee College of Music.

I would be very happy if you could help me pay for my education at Berklee since it's one of the most expensive colleges in the U.S. I don't get any financial support from my father and my mom is trying her hardest to support me on my journey of becoming a pianist. My biggest goal is to combine Cypriot cultural music with contemporary music, learn film-scoring, and perform my own arrangements and compositions around the world. To be able to reach my goal I will have to find a way to pay for Berklee's tuition. Thanks again for your consideration, I have posted links to my music videos if you would like to listen.
