Greg Coleman  NAVARRE, FL
Pastor Greg Coleman  is a loving family  man,  brother, son & friend. He's the father of three  daughters, Tayler, Abbie, and Anna. He's also "Poppy" to two beautiful grandchildren, Jordyn and Wesley. Greg serves as a music minister at Jimmy Swaggart's Family Worship Center in Baton Rouge, Louisianna. Pastor Greg loves the Lord, he loves his family, he loves music, and he loves life. He is one of the most kind hearted people you will meet. His heart for God is inspiring, he has done everything to  model the love of Christ to his family and friends.

In 2010 Greg was diagnosed with Stage Iv Prostate Cancer in the most aggressive form. The Cancer wasn't encapsulated and had spread to his bones where there were numerous metastisies. He first visited MD Anderson in Houston, Texas for evaluation & treatment recommendations. He was then treated by The Woodlands Specialists in Pensacola, Florida. The Cancer had been in remission until April 2015 as a result of prayer, oral chemo & a cutting edge $100k treatment of Provenge in Mobile, Alabama.

On April 29th, 2015, He awoke  in the middle of the night and couldn't walk. He was taken to Our Lady of Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisianna where he was diagnosed with an L1 fracture in his spine due to the cancer having come out of remission. He was given 14 rounds of radiation therapy & was in the hospital for 19 days in excruciating pain. He underwent numerous bonescans, MRIs, and ctscans while there. He came home to Florida on May 18th, still in excruciating pain and unable to care for himself. He is unable to walk on his own and has been confined to using a walker and a wheelchair. Pastor Greg was hospitalized again on June 3rd in Gulf Beeeze, Florida with serious issues with his kidneys. He stayed in Gulf Beeeze Hospital until June 8th & was transferred to West Florida Rehabilative Center at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Florida where he underwent extensive physical & occupational therapy from June 8th through June 25th.  He is now receiving home health care & physical therapy at home. He is to begin IV CHEMO this month. Greg has raged an incredible fight against cancer maintaining his character of being a man of great faith & continuing to minister to others even during his battle.

The cost of Pastor Greg's medical bills has been astronomical . Even with health insurance, the cost has been just too great for Greg and his family to handle.  Please help this great man of God and his family to recover not only from the financial weight of the situation, but also the burden of everything a battle with cancer encompasses.

There are two ways you can help. First, we would ask that you partner with this family in prayer for Pastor Greg. We are believing for a complete healing and total restoration. The second way you can help is financially. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.

We thank you for your love and support.

I've had several requests for us to post an update, and people that would like to donate to our remaining bills. First let me say that's it's been very humbling the response from family, friends & those that were & thankfully are still blessed by Greg's ministry around the world. We find ourselves in a place we certainly never wanted to be in. Greg fought a most amazing battle with cancer while maintaining a level & degree of faith that most never exhibit during great times much less the most difficult times. He set an example like no one else that we know. He was steadfast, genuine & consistent in his daily walk. The girls & I are blessed to be His Family. If you or anyone you know sent gifts through the ministry at SBN we are unaware of those gifts. In order for us to receive any donations they must come through here or you can private message on Facebook our daughters for our address. Through Greg's ministry of song SBN has distributed literally thousands & thousands of cds & dvds raising millions of dollars for the SBN ministry, however, none of those funds come to Greg or our family. We are grateful that Greg's ministry is reaching the nations. We used portions of Greg's life insurance to get treatments that we wouldn't have been able to afford. We used our savings that we had planned to use for our daughters college education to help pay for treatment to keep him even just one more day, and would chart the same course given the choice. We did what we could to find a treatment to prolong Greg's life & ministry. Why am I sharing this? Well, I've had people inquire as to how it's possible to still have bills unpaid. We are a very private family, but we felt the need to share so everyone understands the position I'm now in as a single parent. I know you all face daily struggles with your own issues, and you've certainly helped in relieving some of our burden. When Greg finished his battle, I immediately found myself & our children without health insurance as well as money for college tuition, bills & medical bills. With that being said, God is faithful there is no doubt in my mind, and he helps this widow through His body & hard work. So again, thank you to each one who has prayed, sent messages, continue to share post of Greg's ministry, and have given sacrifically to our family. It means more than mere words & post can express. We are thankful for each of you who continue to share Greg's ministry around the world & your prayers get us through the day to day struggles of our new life. If you would like to donate please do so on here or private message on our daughters' Facebook pages. God bless you!

Today as I reflect on 2016, I'm filled with mixed emotions. It was the hardest year for Greg & my family. Greg fought the most courageous battle with cancer. He did it with great faith & a determination for God to receive all glory from his life & to continue to be the worshipper he always was regardless of situations, circumstances or pain. Those of you who knew Greg personally knew him to be that kind of a man. He loved the Lord more than anything. His faith never faltered. He fulfilled his calling to share the gospel all over the world. He truly finished the fight & kept the faith, and for this my heart is very happy. He no doubt heard "well done good & faithful servant"! My heart along with our daughters is saddened by the fact that we will never hear his infectious laugh again, feel the warmth of his hugs or be able to have him here to watch our girls achieve their dreams in life. It's a sadness you can't prepare for, and it happens when you are least expecting it. Greg was a visionary always excited about what the New Year would bring.....for him 2016 brought the greatest experience & achievement ever!! Heaven! So now, we look forward in 2017 with some nervousness & excitement. God called us as a family, so that call continues in our girls, our grands & me! Only God knows the plans he has for us ! There is no doubt we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses cheering us on, & no doubt Greg has on our family team shirt cheering the loudest. We have seen God comfort us in the midnight hour when we couldn't cry anymore tears, in the kindness of strangers through kind words, gentle hugs, prayers & financial blessings. As I look back on 2016, I'm thankful for each of you that have donated to help with the financial burden extended illness brings with it. I'm thankful for your care & concern that many of you have shared for a family many only know through television & Facebook. I'm thankful for prayers that carried & continue to carry us through lonely days & lonely nights. I've had many ask if this account is still open as they would like to continue to help bare the financial burden through monetary donations & prayers, so I felt I needed to post this. If you would like to give in honor & memory of Greg to help with the over $30,000 we still owe in expenses it's greatly & humbly appreciated! Finally, I am thankful for no more doctor visits, pain & suffering for Greg, and that he has achieved his life goal of Heaven!
Blessings & appreciation to each of you. Praying you have the best year ever filled with His purpose, passion. presence, power, prosperity & peace!

On Friday, June 24th at 3:15 pm, Greg finished his battle with cancer. He stood up & said Holy Spirit Deliver me & Jesus said It is finished!
For the past 6 years, we as a family have stood together with Greg & fought this battle. From the beginning when the diagnosis came Greg & I looked at each other & said we have heard the report, BUT we know God is our healer, and for 6 years that agreement never changed. We refused to let cancer be our identity or our focus as we had bigger things to do, & God was in control.... He alone ordered our steps & had a plan. We had life to live, three beautiful daughters to continue to raise, grandchildren to play with & promises from God that still needed to be fulfilled.
Many of you knew Greg only as a minister of the gospel, but we knew Greg as a family man.... He loved to laugh, watch our girls in their sports, school & church activities, take "His 4 blondes" on dates, fish, spend time at the beach, ride his bicycle, take the girls to breakfast & school rides to & from school being silly & jamming out in the car. He loved our "Family Shows" with the five of us him playing guitar & us all singing worship songs in our living room. Our house was always a home where everyone was welcome & there was always one more seat available at the table. More than. anything he was proud of the family God has blessed us with.
We were & are so proud of Greg. He showed us what true faith really is. He never pushed his way to the front...... He knew God would make a way & God always did. Gregs spirit was gentle & kind & humble. I always said he was Clark Kent by day but turned into Supernan in the pulpit. It always amazed people to meet him after church because he was so soft spoken & quiet. His confidence was in the Lord!
Greg fought the most courageous battle. Many nights sitting by his bed knowing that he was holding onto God & God was bringing him through. We knew until the vision the Lord gave him was fulfilled he would be right where God wanted him.
Greg knew he would preach to the nations & God fulfilled that through SBN & Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. Greg went there in maintenance & with an opportunity to play guitar & was over the moon to do it because he would do anything to have the opportunity to minister. He was a Senior Pastor for 20 years, but he was humble & willing to go through whatever door the Lord provided for him to minister. God again raised Greg up & gave him what he promised. Greg reached more people in his first sermon on SBN then in 40 years of ministry combined. God honored his humble heart & heart for the lost. In the last two years countless people from across the globe have been touched by Greg's ministry & his courageous battle. He pointed people to Christ & fulfilled His calling.
In the final two months, Greg & our family had time to laugh, love & be together. We had our "Family Show" at the condo, went boating, went to Disney, rode rollercoasters, & sat on the beach. Greg took our girls on "Daddy - Daughter dates & we shared lots of hugs & were thankful for what God had done. God showed himself faithful.....He fulfilled His promises to Greg.
We rejoice that Greg is no longer in sickness or pain, and yet our hearts are broken & hurt in places we didn't know existed. We find ourselves wanting to text him, FaceTime him or just hear his laugh. The love you have extended to Greg, Tayler, Abbie, Anna & I has been amazing. Your prayers & support have carried us through the most difficult time we as a family have ever faced. To each of you thanks is inadequate to express. We covet your continued love & support through the coming months. We haven't lost Greg/Dad, we know exactly where he is. We carry him in our hearts & his fingerprints are all over us & each of you as he touched us all.
Many of you have donated to help us with medical bills that are still pouring in as you can image as we've been doing this for 6 years. Now we have funeral costs added to the equation. We know God can & we know God uses His body to meet the needs of His children. We currently have over $30,000 in medical bills & now funeral costs. If you can donate in lieu of flowers that would be extremely helpful As insurance falls short. Please know every time you play Greg's cd or sing his song Satan is defeated & Gregs ministry continues. He & I talked about how that the devil will never stop what God started in him.
Again thank you to each of you for our part in our journey. Thank you for your prayers & financial support.
We love you & Greg especially loved ministering to you.
Love ,
Diane , Tayler, Abbie & Anna

I want to thank you for your prayers and your giving to bring restoration to my life and ministry. I began preaching as an 18 year old evangelist. Preaching and singing along with my Family, The Coleman's. It has been my heart's desire since a teenager to see souls come into the kingdom of God.. That has been my passion. A few years ago through word of prophecy the Lord said he would open a door to the nations. The Lord took me by surprise two years ago by opening the door to the nation's through Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. Reaching hundreds of thousands in a single service. However Along with the opening of this door the enemy set out to bring destruction upon my life and ministry. The Lord however has remained faithful to his word as multiple thousands are being ministered to in spite of my affliction. As the scripture says, when I am weak, then am I strong. I am asking you today to stand strong with me in faith, bringing healing to my body and blessings to my family. The Lord is making the way for me to take a much needed time of rest. Please stand in agreement with my family and I that as the Lord delivered Job, that he will do the same for my family and I. We love you all so much and pray rest and peace to each of you through the cross of Gods dear Son. Blessings. Pastor Greg.

So sorry to hear this. I lost my husband on May 18 of this year also. We found out Sam had prostate cancer in 2012. After radiation treatments, we found out in 2014 that it had moved into his hip bone causing extreme pain. It then moved into his liver, lymphatic system, and lungs. Sam's was aggressive small cell cancer. He had so much chemo and radiation. Through all this, we enjoyed blessings every time we listened to Greg on SBN, but we never knew how similar their diseases were. I hope my Sam and your Greg get to meet in Heaven.

Thank you Greg for your song "Healing Is Here" it has been a great help getting me through all the pain I am having with my illness. I was so saddened to see you were leaving us during the time your song was helping me so. What a blessing you were Greg and I pray for your family and the whole ministry. With out you here there is now a big hole but we know where you are. The Lord must have needed your voice real bad right now. Blessing to Greg's family and all those who knew you and your work. Our tears now are because we miss you not because we would rather you stay. Because we are glad now you are out of your pain . We know we will see you are the gate when we get there. Love to all the ministry.

My heart is broken. I just learned of his passing and though I am so happy he is home with our Lord, he will be missed here very much. He did his job the Lord gave to Greg well beyond and above what any man could do. Glory to God he is home, happy, pain free nothing stopping him from giving The Lord all his love. I can see it, Greg holding on to The Nail Scarred Hand of Jesus, walking and talking and Greg singing "I Am" to our precious Lord. I can hear the Lord telling Greg, " Son, you did a superb job on earth and now your work is finished, time to rest. May God bless his family and friends during this time of loss, keep you all strong and help you through this terrible loss. Terrible loss for all of us who loved Greg, but a beautiful day for Greg. He got his robe and crown. Bless you all and thank you Greg for all you gave us. You will be missed beyond what mere words can say.

We have decided to give our offerings to this fund in lieu of donations to the church and urge others to do the same to finish off this bill!
