Hi all! Alta needs our help!

On Sunday, October 18th, her brother Basilio was involved in a terrible accident. While performing a stunt at work, he attempted a back flip off a 14 foot ledge and missed the landing mat. This left him with a traumatic brain injury. Earlier this week he was semiconscious and able to communicate verbally, although he remained confused and disoriented. Bassilio still remains in critical condition, and things are not looking too great. The entire family is  struggling to cope with this unfortunate tragedy.

Please join us in raising money for Alta and her family so that we can help reduce the difficult burden of extensive medical bills. This entire experience has taken a serious toll on the strong, passionate we have come to love. Let us show how much we care about her by donating anything we can to help her though this difficult time.

Thank you for your love and support!

"I don't think about what this would be without the support of family and friends. I can't imagine. It's not just the fundraiser. As the walls of heartache, confusion, frustration, and exhaustion close in, we can only catch a breath with every reminder of Basilio's presence. He is present in memories, motivation, and inspiration. He is present in love. Basilio will always be present with us all."
"Who would have thought? A young, average male, from a poor family in the Bronx, would make such an impact? Would become so extraordinary? He left a legacy of courage, wisdom, and creativity. Basilio, the strong, humble, quiet, superhero." - AM

Friends and Family,

Two lovely people, Chazz Menendez and Hannah D. Scott organized a boxing event to raise funds for the Montilla family who is still troubled by funeral and medical expenses despite the funds raised thus far.
In his spare time, Basilio trained in the boxing ring so Chazz and Hannah have selected this event in his honor.
If you are not able to attend. Please donate here. Either way continue to share this page. Continue to share memories. Continue to remember this beautiful person.

"For those of you who didn't know Basilio personally, what can we say? One of life's most beautiful souls, humble, honest and an artist in many forms. He trained everyday and lead the way for much of what many of us do now. He pushed himself in every way possible, always driving to find out what more he could do to be at the very forefront of the parkour and stunt world. He shared that passion with others and helped them find their way too.
There will be a lot of great bouts that night, with 100% of ticket sales going to Basilio's family." - Chazz and Hannah

Friends and Family,

I can't thank you enough. I have no words. It's been wonderful to show my mother that we are not alone, to show her that we have a community that wants to help us through this process - a community that is going above and beyond much like ‪#‎BasilioMontilla‬ always did. Your contributions will help us heal. I am forever grateful.
