End My 15 Year Stalking Nightmare
I am a disabled artist from Western North Carolina. I freelance when I can, but as you can imagine there is very little room in my monthly budget for frivolous expenses.
My issue now comes to this: I have been the victim of an individual whom has made a rather bad name for herself in quite a few communities, online and off. This individual's name is Kimberleigh.
I have suffered harassment and defamation from this woman for over 15 years. I am 31 years old at present. Kimberleigh has been targeting me for HALF OF MY LIFE.
A few months ago this came to a rapid head, with Kimberleigh attempting to issue a "no contact /restraining order" against me while offering fabricated and falsified evidence. Information I was able to gather indicated that Kimberleigh made the following two main complaints: that I, who had nver been to the state of California (where Kimberleigh lives) was putting 'notes' in her mailbox, and that I had raped her at Loyola Marymount University (in LA) when Kimberleigh was 19 years old. Obviously any critical thought destroys this statement - particular that I would have been about 11 when this supposed rape happened.
There is much, much more evidence than these two heinous accusations, but that gives you an idea of what I have been dealing with during this long ordeal.
Last month I was able to raise $1,000 because of the kindness and generosity of all of you out there that want to see justice done. That money went straight to buying my husband and I round trip tickets to California, and the rest was food and fuel while we were there. Kimberleigh's request for renewal was denied and her entire order against me was vacated because she failed to show up in person.
That finally gets me to why I am asking for more money.
Right now, everything is in stasis. Kimberleigh is laying low and biding her time, but there is no doubt that she will be back, and soon . If I can get my civil case filed and have the ball rolling , then she won't be able to come back at me in any meaningful way in the future, and having a judgement against her will get her out of my life forever.
I have decided to share my story publicly, in full, for the first time to raise awareness for this campaign.
