20 year old diagnosed with peripartum cardiomyopathy. Mashawnda had a baby boy named Elgin on April 1st,2016. A few hours later she was feeding him and could not breathe. The doctors did some test and found that she had peripartum cardiomyopathy . Since then she has been in and out of the hospital. She felt tired when holding and playing with her baby. She lost her job and apartment because of this condition and is homeless. She was in the hospital for 2 months, the doctors tried medications at first that did not help. Now she has a heart pump that helps but is a temporary fix. Please help her fight heart failure.  As of now Mashawnda is in the hospital waiting for a transplant.
