Ki is a beautiful 7 year-old with a big personality. He loves to sing, dance, laugh and especially loves being tickled. His favorite things are superheroes, baseball, soccer, Curious George and Capeoria.  He loves to eat peas, sushi and edamame and drink sparkling water which he calls "silly water". When he grows up, he wants to be a superhero!

Ki is a normal 7 year old boy with tons of energy, a little bit of craziness and boundless love. However, Ki is also a dynamic soul that demands your presence as soon as you meet him. There is just something about Ki that can be felt the moment he enters a room. He truly is a superhero already, he just doesn’t know it yet.

Ki was also given a special and difficult task to overcome in his lifetime, though still at its beginning; he has an inoperable brain tumor that he is fighting against every day. You would never know this hard but true fact when you meet him. He is full of life, passion and a truly dynamic purpose. Ki can easily be referred to as a force - a beautiful force with so much to give. He is an angel who is here for a very specific reason - to quote Ki, “I am here to teach kids/people to heal themselves."

Ki was diagnosed late in 2014 with a brain tumor in a location that cannot be operated on. After treatment considerations, it was decided by Ki’s doctors and mother, Beth, that an integrative  route was his best option. Ki’s diet has been changed drastically, he goes to treatment five days a week , sees a functional medicine specialist, naturopathic doctors, homeopathic doctors, is under chiropractic care several days a week, and has been working with various other healers. There has also been a focus on healing Ki’s mind - in teaching him that he can be a part of healing the cancer himself if he believes it, wants to, and allows his mind to do the incredible work that it is capable of.

Although he may only be 7, Ki’s wisdom and life force go far beyond his years, an apparent fact to all who meet him. Ki and Beth have been blessed in the past year and a half to have found a wonderful community of individuals who have seen the incredible light within Ki and have come together with love to help a young boy who has a huge mission in his lifetime. This journey has become less about the details of an illness, and more about finding the way in this world when there is not a clearly defined route. Every moment has taught those around Ki about how love, positive thoughts, true intentions and one little boy’s incredible willpower can change everything.

Along the journey to ensure that Ki lives, it is our wish to help in every way possible, and one of the biggest burdens has been financially. In supporting her son to the fullest capacity during this hard time, Beth does not have the time or capabilities to devote to her business. While we cannot take the pain away that has come with this experience, we can join together as a community of love-filled individuals and try to take away the financial pressures and burdens that have come.

With even the smallest donation, your love shines through and will create a hugely positive impact on Beth and Ki, and the journey to keep Ki safe, happy, and alive to fulfill his purpose to change the world.

Thank you in advance for your kindness, your support, and all of your love!

We are raising money in order to pay for some of Beth and Ki’s current needs,

--- The coverage of medical and living expenses so that Ki can be cared for full-time through the course of his tests and treatments. As a single mother, all of Beth’s time is spent coordinating appointments and taking Ki to appointments daily. Money is needed to fund their day to day living as well as some of Ki’s prescribed vitamins, herbs and medicines that are not covered by insurance and are incredibly costly. In addition, Ki is on a special diet which adds a large sum to their monthly expenses.

Let's pull together in love and do all that we can to help Ki live! Please share this campaign with friends, family and anyone who you believe may be able to lend some support in any way.

Ki and I just want to thank you for your donations and tell you how much we appreciate each and everyone of your love and support. Our main goal right now is to get him back in the hyperbaric chamber and stop this new tumor from growing anymore. Thank you again for supporting us.

Please keep sharing our page.

As many of you know, we had an MRI 2 weeks ago and we found that Ki had a new tumor. We've been very fortunate to be able to consult with top functional medicine doctors that work with his type of brain cancer. We've been able to implement some of the treatments but need to raise money as quick as possible to start the others he needs.

You all have been very supportive of us in the past so I want to ask for your help again. We need to raise as much as we can this week. Any help you can give us is greatly appreciated. If you feel comfortable sharing, please do.

Thank you from both Ki and I

Ki graduates from preschool today. The roller coaster of emotions of the past year and a half since Ki was diagnosed are hitting me hard today. A year and a half ago, I didn't know if we would be celebrating this milestone. When he was diagnosed his tumor was growing fairly rapidly. We were driving two hours each way back and forth to doctors to run tests and monitor his tumor multiple times a week. Each test gave us a bit more time. We eventually went from 1 month being monitored to every 3. Each visit and test was scary. I remember every test that he cried through, all the lost sleep and endless talks with doctors. Each visit I was scared to hear the results. How long would Ki have to live?

After we exhausted what traditional medicine had to offer, I turned to holistic medicine. Ki still has many doctors, and does not like his "special shake" with his medicines, but his tumor has been shrinking for 6 months now. And today he graduated from preschool!

I'm so proud of Ki. He has not had a normal couple of years, but really, what's normal? Today, not only do we celebrate the milestone of him being able to go to preschool and graduate but the fact that he is happy and getting healthier everyday.

Over the past year we've had two beautiful young friends die of cancer. It's days with big milestones that remind me of just how lucky we are. We say prayers of gratitude every day but today, it just all is bubbling to the surface.

I look forward to all the milestones ahead in Ki's life. My biggest wish for him is that he grows up happy and healthy. My vision is he is able to watch his grandchildren or maybe even great grandchildren graduate from preschool.

Go Ki go!

Throughout this journey, we have learned so much: that healing is not just happening in the physical; there is a mental and emotional component that both parent and child get to work through to bring health and vitality back to people who need it and deserve it. It has become Ki's goal to help children with these kinds of illnesses heal the way he is. That once he is fully and 100% healed, to help teach other children how to believe that they can be healthy again too. So now it has become my goal as well.
Thank you for your continued support. Ki's super hero story is one of love, compassion and true action. Your donations and sharing our story with your loved ones, neighbors and friends are so incredibly appreciated. Ki isn't the only super hero in this story. Thank you!

I have known Beth for over a decade. She is a wonderful person and her world revolves around her son Kai. Having a child with cancer is something no one should ever have to bear. Her whole focus is on him - as it should be. And, as her friend, I hope we can come together to help her support him and care for him in his time of need. If you are wondering if this is a good cause... it is. The money you give will make a huge impact on their lives. Give generously. Thanks!!

Met Ki at my place of employment the Fitteam Ballpark of the Palm Beaches. As 2 of my fellow grounds crew members were working on a bullpen I look over and see a young boy and his mother. That young boy was Ki. There wasn't many people left at the ballpark besides us employees. As a supervisor I walk over and ask if everything is ok. The grounds crew members then told me that young boy wanted a ball. As I search for a ball I come back and they are headed back in from the parking lot to retrieve the ball and I also managed to find a bat for Ki as well. They went to the parking to get a couple of Ki's baseball cards then came back in and I handed Ki the bat and ball. He then hands me his signed players card . We have a small vibrant conversation and they head back to their vehicle. I then proceed to get back to work and I sit down in my cart to read the card. That's when I knew Ki was a special kid and I wanted to help by a small donation along with the ball and the bat.
