Help Jen Afford Her Last Semester!

Hi! My name is Jen Davis. I'm half-way through my senior year of college as an English major with a Sociology minor, and (this is hard for me to admit, but) I need help affording my final semester.

I am a financially independent student putting myself through college -- something which I am very proud to say. I work four part-time jobs during the academic year -- as a server, as a writing tutor, with the LGBTQIA community on-campus, and as the Marketing & Research Coordinator at a small company -- and will be taking extra credits in order to graduate this May (as I have done for the past two semesters), otherwise I will lose my institutional financial aid should I enroll in another semester of school.

My greatest educational expenses are the costs of tuition not covered by financial aid and federal student loans and the costs of materials required for my classes. This upcoming semester will be especially tough for me because I will be unable to work at one of my part-time jobs (as the Marketing & Research Coordinator at a small company), which constitutes nearly one-third of my monthly income.

I will graciously appreciate any and all contributions. Trust me, I do not like admitting that my circumstances have reached such a point. But my education is too important for me to continue to allow my pride to stand between me and a better life.
