Helping our friends from Korea

Earlier this month, a mother and daughter visiting Orange County from Korea were attacked, beaten, and robbed at gun point.

All of their personal items and official documents were stolen, and they both required hospitalization. The Sister City Association of Garden Grove, a non-profit organization, would like to ask for the community’s assistance to help to cover their losses and medical expenses as a show of care and support.  We have established communication with the victims through the Consulate General and all proceeds from this fundraiser will be directed to the victims.

The Sister City Association of Garden Grove is dedicated to bringing cultures together through mutual understanding, awareness, and compassion. We value our friends from other countries and are saddened to hear about this tragic incident. Please help us raise enough money to aid the mother and daughter through this difficult time.
